How To Sell on Poshmark Fast
If you want to sell faster on Poshmark, try these time saving, result boosting strategies!
Targeted Sharing
Poshmark has made it clear that sharing is the path to sales, but you can waste your time sharing the wrong things at the wrong times to the wrong people. Try this instead:
- • Identifying the 4 most profitable items in your closet to sell (for help with this go here: “How to Figure Out Your Profit on Poshmark”).
- • Share them to your followers so they are at the top of your closet.
- • Start with the most profitable item and search for a similar item in “Sold” listings (the more similar, the more targeted your sharing will be).
- • Note the selling closet as well as the likers for the similar listings.
- • Share from those closets (If the closet does not have any listings, follow the closet instead).
- • Start with the most profitable item and search for a similar item in “Available” listings (the more similar, the more targeted your sharing will be).
- • Note the selling closet as well as the likers for the similar listings.
- • Share from those closets (If the closet does not have any listings, follow the closet instead).
- • Go to the Brand Page for your 4 most profitable items (start with the most profitable item first) and start sharing from the brand page.
- • Repeat for the remaining profitable items.
Targeted Follows
Following is another way, aside from sharing, that will get your closet listings exposure to new eyeballs. But it is easy to waste your time here too, instead of following anyone who has a blue follow button, try this:
- • Identifying the 4 most profitable items in your closet to sell (for help with this go here: “How to Figure Out Your Profit on Poshmark”).
- • Share them to your followers so they are at the top of your closet.
- • Start with the most profitable item and search for a similar item in “Sold” listings (the more similar, the more targeted your following will be).
- • Note the selling closet as well as the likers for the similar listings.
- • Follow those closets and those closet’s followers.
- • Start with the most profitable item and search for a similar item in “Available” listings (the more similar, the more targeted your following will be).
- • Note the selling closet as well as the likers for the similar listings.
- • Follow those closets and those closet’s followers.
- • Go to the Brand Page for your 4 most profitable items (start with the most profitable item first) and start following closets from the brand page and following those closet’s followers.
- • Repeat for the remaining profitable items.
Community Interaction
Selling fast on Poshmark has a lot to do with closet and listing visibility and communication. Some ways to engage more for faster sales include:
- • Counteroffer with potential buyers instead of just declining offers.
- • Send offers to likers to engage them again.
- • Message New Closets to welcome them to the community.
- • Answer questions and comments instead of ignoring them.

Direct Shares and Styling Someone
You can share your closet item(s) directly to individuals to create a bundle for them and style them. We caution against using these methods with people who have not liked your items though because unsolicited direct sharing can be seen as unwanted and over-aggressive by the potential buyers. It may lead to complaints to Poshmark about you or blocking (for more info go here: “How to Style Someone on Poshmark” and “How to Bundle on Poshmark”
What about the 30 Minute Method (also known as the 30MM)?
Right now, there seem to be differing opinions about the effectiveness of this method. While your individual experience with it may have you feeling positive or negative about it (we haven’t given it a thorough testing, so don’t have an opinion), we would like to point out that the 30 Minute Method is not a process from Poshmark. It is a program developed by a Posher or group of Poshers who “are a group of marketing, math and algorithm digging chicks who sell on Poshmark. The goal of the group is to discuss computer engineering, marketing analytics of the Poshmark app from the perspective of the sellers.” The first time we can find the 30MM being talked about is early 2017, making it a 2 year old recommendation. Given the incredible rate of Poshmark growth in the last 2 years, we wonder if this method still applies. We would love to hear your experience with it!
